Happy New Year!
For cars that don't start....
Please remove the battery and bring it inside to warm and charge it. This is the most common cause of a no start in cold weather. Please put addative in the car. White bottle Power service in the recomended dose or for gelling add the red bottle 911. Figure out the tools you will need in advance. It'll save a lot of trouble in the dark at 5am.
Typical 7-10 day backlog here. Let me know what you are looking for.
Couple things I need to post here so they are crystal clear. My shop is at my house. This means don't randomly drop by. Call or text first. THIS IS PRIVATE PROPERTY and it is posted as such and all visits are by appointment only. Please DO NOT GO TO THE HOUSE AND RING THE BELL. I have to mention this because people cannot listen. You have a time set and I will meet you in the shop. If you are early, call or text. I don't do everything as far as work goes as well so understand that. I am selective because I am busy and or the physical demands are to great to do some jobs. That's the way it is. Not trying to be hard about this, its common courtesy and respect.
Time to plan your timing belt replacement. Waiting until 3 days before your trip does not work! Current wait times for major work other than timing belts is approx 7-10 days. This is a good time to get a Dieselgeek Panzer plate installed as well. They are great for battling the icebergs that WILL fall off the trucks in front of you on the highway this winter. Plus I've had more than a few clients save their engines in off-road excursions. They are available at www.dieselgeek.com
Tired of the $800-1000 bill for the 40-80K service on your new common rail car? We are about half that amount. All 09-13' VW and Audi Clean diesels.
Please note that I prefer to not just do "oil changes". If you need you larger 40-80-120K services that isn't an issue. Newer cars take at least 45 min a car to do a change and I am just too busy to do 20 of these a week. Your best bet is to see VW for the 10K oil change service. They use the same oil and filter I do. A few of you have taken this the wrong way so I'm just making it known. I'm not jiffy-lube....
We also do not do "small electrical issues" I am primarily a mechanical shop. That means I do not do window switches, radios, wiring, etc, etc....I will install alternators, glow plug systems etc though. That is engine related. If you need wiring work I can refer you to my long time electrician and friend.
We do NOT work on grease cars. Don't even bother asking. That includes timing belts.
We are NOT responsible for any lot damage and or break-ins to cars. If the car is outside it is at your own risk. We have not got an issue here but I just have to state it for obvious reasons. CYA....
